In two short days my stay in Italy will come to an end. The lessons learned have been immeasurable and have far exceeded my expectations. Italy has been good to me and I, in turn, have learned to be good to myself. Grazie mille Italia.

Well, Karis, lucky you, to have had the time in Italy...I'm so jealous. Now, do you return to Sarasta? Have a very safe journey...let me know where you end up as I certainly stop by there, occasionally, and visit St. Armand's Circle!

Thanks Eaton! I used to be close to Yahtzee before everyone started posting their Friday's 55s on Thursday nights ~ when I'm sleeping. Pfft....

Yes Carmen, I'll be returning to Sarasota this Sunday. Anxious to be going back there to be with family and friends, but will greatly miss Italy as well. Definitely look me up when you're in town!

I love the girl in the mirror. I would love to spend a year in Italy. I think we all envy you. After being in Europe for only 10 days, home seemed so....ah, vulgur and parochial. And the first time we went out to dinner, I couldn't believe there was no wine list and hordes of messy, rude children. But now I've acclimiated and lowered my expectations.

Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my 55!

@ Brian ~ I am just beginning a new journey...for me it will never end now!

@ Jingle ~ I've loved sharing what I've learned in the past 9 months.

@ Anthony ~ I liked the format as well...played with it for a while.

@ Sherry ~ Thank you...hopefully it will be smooth sailing (er, flying)!

@ Yvonne ~ It has been an unbelievable experience...ups and downs here too, like anywhere. It will be interested to see what "reverse culture shock" I might have. Should make for some curious writing!

But nothing would have changed for her if she hadn't taken the steps to make the changes herself.

happy travels to you nice looking girl in the mirror..

yes it's a true story I really hated to do what I did but then again he's been getting gas from me for quite some time now. I finally decided the only way to stop this is to step into a lower place than I like to be. So I bought five dollars of gas and then filled the rest of the can with water and placed it back in the truck with the rest of my equipment as I always did. The neighbor figured out that I filled my tanks for my gardening tools every Sunday night. He'd hit me early Monday Or Tuesday morning. I waited up at night just to see if I'd catch this guy and I finally did he thought he was slick doing what he was doing so I had to show him who was smarter than the average bear and it's going to cost him money just to clean out the gasline and the gas tank as you all know gas and water don't mix I really don't think he'll ever do it again if he does he's more of an idiot than I thought.

thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.Larry This Blog Of Mine

Travel is an education in itself. Continue your journey, and knowledge will result.
