I wrote a few days ago about my creative self. I haven't slept much lately. I bought another magazine, Somerset's Digital Studio. I'm in BIG trouble now. I created this for a different challenge and 'lo and behold, it was 54 words. A little tweak and now it's fit for today as well. This 55 is less about the words and more about the hours I spent creating the digital piece, learning many new techniques ~ though it does serve as a journal entry of a recent weekend with New Beau.
No doubt, I'll be showcasing more of my efforts in the next several days as what I've done here is child's play compared to what I've been inspired by. Stay tuned!
Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs,
Karis

Sail, sail away! Your photos make me long for white sand beaches, warm tropical waters and sunny afternoons on a boat.
Great 55!
Nothing like a holiday on the sea!
That's such a nice image. It sounds like a wonderful time. That last line is quite a finishing move.
Karis...
Beautiful Pics!
Loved your 55!
Have I told you that it's great to have you back?
hehehehe...
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
Nice setting of the mood and fun graphics. Like the new look to your site as well.
Looks like you had a lot of fun playing with this, and it turned out well--I assume that's what the Digital Studio reference was about--assembling the graphics. I like the words also, with their tongue in cheek but sincere sense of enjoyment.
Sounds like a good date, hot flashes or not. BTW, I got some swim trunks just like that for my son a couple of years ago.
Glorious - makes me want to be out on the water!
Beautiful! Your 55 made me wish I was one of your nautical friends. Thanks for sharing such a sweet experience.
Cheers,

My Blog
Many years ago, life on a houseboat was a dream fulfilled. Ten years later, living in Naples-on-the-Gulf, we "lived" on the water, a 21'runabout for about ten years.
But the highlight of my water experiences was a two-week sailing trip to Dry Tortuga Islands. Lobster for Breakfast, Lunch, and for dinner--LOBSTER! Always fresh from waters where I swam with barracuda to grab those clawed creatures from their hiding places.
What a drunk two weeks those were. I felt like Ernest Hemingway with everything but his talent!
Oh, forgot: KARIS...ENJOY these days, girl! It sounds as if life is having meaning!
PEACE!
Very nice. I could see the sun on the water and feel the wind. You paint a pretty picture.
Sounds like a heavenly time! Loved your sailing 55. Makes me want to go out to the water again.
